There have been several articles in the news about education.
Time Magazine had a couple of good articles about the "end of summer vacation". It shows the argument about why extended schooling is important for kids. It is a good article and worth the read and the thought.
The Nation has also published many interesting articles as well, including a few about Diane Ravitch and her new and reformed views about education, in particular about charter schools! They have written sharp assessments and critiques about education reform in the nation recently.
The NYTimes also have been publishing good articles about education, innovation and research. Good to stay informed about the state of education certainly here in the states.
